The ACME GROUP has proven itself to be extremely effective in leveling the playing field, reigning in and neutralizing mismanagement, internal theft, fraud, and outright criminal activity, through its activities involving litigation support, asset investigations, covert surveillance and undercover operations, financial fraud analysis, integrity testing, and facility and personnel protective services. In addition, today the threat of victimization by terrorist activity is also a serious concern, and we are recognized experts in this field. The ACME GROUP understands the business and security concerns of the client, and works closely with corporate executives, corporate security personnel and/or legal counsel, to effect the desires of the client, and to apprise the client of ACME GROUP activities and case developments. No action is taken without prior consultation with, and approval of, the client and/or its legal representative.

Employers must be aware of the legal issues involving hiring and firing. Liability based on "negligent hiring" must be avoided, and proper authorizations must be obtained prior to screening. This specialized field requires the screener to be acutely aware of federal and state regulations, policies and guidelines with regard to pre-employment screening. Failure to abide by FCRA, ADA and other requirements can lead to serious liability consequences for an employer. INTERVIEW: In conjunction with the client's pre-employment interview process, and in addition to the background investigation described above, skilled interviewers of the Acme Group will talk to prospective employees, be they executive, managerial, supervisory or line personnel, to assess veracity and credibility. Interview questions are within the federal and state legal requirements of subject matter allowed to be investigated for pre-employment purposes. REPORTS: An analysis is conducted immediately after the performance of background investigations and interviews, and reports are issued within 24 hours of the completed activity.
INVESTIGATIONS DURING AND AFTER EMPLOYMENT: Commercial entities suffer huge losses, the majority of which statistically are committed by employees or former employees, at every level of employment category. It is a reality that perpetrators include executives, managers, supervisors and line personnel. ACME GROUP personnel are trained to assess and analyze risk and threat to any type of business, whether from outside or inside. While in-house security and internal loss prevention activities are perhaps cost effective, they can be ineffective and even counterproductive when investigation of employees, especially at high levels, is required. ACME GROUP personnel are experienced at conducting undercover, covert and open investigations, including interviews of employees, in all manner of loss scenarios. These investigations have included theft from store shelves, cash registers, selling floors, warehouses and parking areas, as well as bank accounts and computer-related theft (cyber crime). We have recovered a single valuable book, an entire tractor-trailer combination, airplanes, diamonds, all manner of goods, after a careful and lawfully conducted investigation revealed the perpetrators in each case.
